Cassaria’s journey is a testament to resilience and the power of passion. Despite facing challenges and setbacks, her love for makeup and the arts never wavered. Through her experiences in high school, college, and the workforce, she discovered her true calling in the beauty industry. The loss of her father was undoubtedly a difficult moment, but it served as a catalyst for her to pursue her dreams with even more determination. Working at Ulta provided her with invaluable experience and eventually led her to pursue her esthetics license, taking her one step closer to her goal of making makeup her career. While in school Cassaria never quit working. On the Saturdays she didn’t have class, she was working a wedding. She was so excited to see her dreams unfold. However, right before she was set to graduate the world was put on pause due to the global Covid-19 pandemic. Cassaria’s resilience and determination shine through once again as she navigates through the challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic and transitions into the next phase of her career. Despite the setbacks, she perseveres, graduating in 2020 and exploring various opportunities in medical esthetics, but nothing ever seemed like quite the right fit. So she went back to her roots, while 30 weeks pregnant, and began working at Sephora. It was working there that she finally got to see the impact she had on the beauty industry in her hometown of Knoxville and, with the help and kind words of her amazing friend and founder of Bangs and Blush, Jamie, she got the bravery to step out on faith and go all in to the bridal beauty industry. It was like this was where she was meant to be all along.
